Halloween Parade

Travel teams (U9 & Older) are invited to participate with SMSA in the Boiling Springs Halloween parade on Thursday, October 27th! Any U5, U6/U7 & U8 SMSA players/younger siblings are invited to come and watch the parade with their families, cheer for the SMSA float and collect some candy, and are encouraged to wear their SMSA jerseys!

Theme: Kick or Treat
Place: Meet at Boiling Springs High School parking lot by the maintenance building
Date & Time: Thursday, October 27th - Arrive at 6:30pm, parade starts at 7
**Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Parade Details: We are asking each travel team that chooses to participate in the parade to create a banner to be carried during the parade. The banner must have your soccer team name on it and be Halloween themed. Players should wear their purple jersey and teams may dress up if they wish in a team costume theme or individually. Chaperones: We are asking for each team to assign 2-4 parent volunteers to stay with their players before, during, and after the parade until players are picked up by their parents. Chaperones can wear SMSA Spirit Wear and are also welcome to get into the Halloween spirit with their attire.

What to bring: Each player may bring 1-2 bags of candy in a bag or bucket for them to pass out along the parade route. We will have adults control the candy this year to hopefully alleviate the issues we had last year with wild candy tossing.
