Program Overview
Our SMSA YDP U4 Program is designed to introduce preschool-aged children to the exciting world of soccer. This program provides our youngest players with their first opportunity to learn basic soccer fundamentals in a fun, engaging, and positive environment.
The program focuses on:
Skill Development: Introduction to basic ball skills such as dribbling, stopping, and gentle kicking.
Fun & Participation: Activities are designed to keep children engaged and excited about the game.
Parent/Guardian Involvement: A parent or guardian is required to stay and actively participate in each session, guiding their child through instructor-led activities.
Confidence Building: Emphasis on creating a supportive atmosphere where children feel comfortable exploring movement and teamwork.
Coaching & Session Structure
Sessions are led by experienced instructors who organize fun, age-appropriate activities that introduce soccer fundamentals while encouraging social interaction and teamwork. Parents and guardians play a key role in helping children follow activities and enjoy the session.
