This spring, SMSA is excited to launch SMSA Skills Lab, a small-group training experience designed to help U10–U13 players sharpen specific areas of their game in a focused, high-energy environment.

Each Skills Lab is led by local NCAA men’s and women’s soccer players and capped at six players or fewer, ensuring maximum individual attention, meaningful repetitions, and personalized feedback.

Choose Your Focus

We are offering three specialized Skills Lab tracks:

Offensive Skills Lab

Focused on attacking techniques including:

• Dribbling and creativity

• 1v1 moves

• Finishing and shooting technique

• Creating scoring opportunities

Defensive Skills Lab

Centered on strong individual defending:

• Defensive positioning

• Tackling technique

• 1v1 defending

• Recovery runs and decision-making

Goalkeeper (Keeper) Skills Lab

Position-specific training designed just for goalkeepers:

• Footwork and movement

• Handling and shot-stopping

• Positioning

• Distribution and communication
